…to avoid going to places of worship especially when a relative/ family member/ friend/ annoying irritating specimen tries to make you go when you don’t want to:
1. I have a migraine, I think I will just lie in bed today
2. God is everywhere, I am sure He won’t mind me praying right here, right now
3. I am having my menses now, it would be an insult to God to go there in my ‘dirty’ condition (can only apply for non-menopausal women)
4. I am having very dirty thoughts, like strangling you right here in the name of God, it is best I don’t go today or else it may offend / distress God
5. Where is it again?
6. I am not Taoist/Buddhist/Christian/Hindu/etc, why should I go?
7. I worship the Devil, it is against my religion to go to a place to worship his enemy
8. I can’t, I promised God I would stay out of His way for the rest of my life!
9. I can’t, God forbade me to go anywhere near Him
10. I already went and came back, why are you still here?
