Just two days after Raja Petra was arrested, the DPM Najib Tun Razak deemed it important to issue another warning to bloggers that ‘there were laws pertaining to sedition, defamation and libel‘.
Of course, the Dumbest Idiot in Malaysia DPM has to contradict himself by stating that the government has ‘always been liberal towards bloggers and has no plans to clamp down on them‘.
Err…minister ah, so it is very liberal to slap bloggers and online news owners with sedition charges when they write the truth la?
So, charging Raja Petra and a blogger is not a ‘clamp down’ on bloggers la?
Hmmm…oh yeah, you must mean it is only to clamp bloggers from blogging the truth right?
Let me get this straight. MPs in the august house are allowed to shout discriminatory remarks, racist / sexist, at the Opposition MPs and it is not illegal.
It is alright to tell people of Chinese descent to ‘balik tiongsan’ or tell a woman that she ‘tiap-tiap bulan bocor’ or to wave a keris around during a general assembly but it is wrong for bloggers to voice their dissatisfaction and opinions of how they are ruining the country?
This further enforces my standing that all of us should stand up to fight for freedom of speech and press. After all, blogs are another form of media / press!
It is either that or we vote these bunch of idiots lawmakers out of government and let Pakatan Rakyat take over.
Absolute power is dangerous when left in the hands of idiots.

DPM and Rosmah should sue RPK as defamtion suit instead of getting him being charged for sedition. Other than this, the difference – sedition charges all taken care by the govt while defamation suit, they need to pay to hire lawyers.
