Being a Sunday, we had a really great family time of going different places this morning and then, the moment I checked the news (which I seldom do on days when I am off) in the afternoon while my son is taking his nap, I somehow, was too jaded to be even remotely shocked.
So, there are now fresh sexual (sodomee to be exact) allegations against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. You can read about the latest update of what’s happening with this allegations over at Malaysiakini here. Apparently it happened in a Damansara condo.
Why am I not surprised in the least? Well, I expected them to do something drastic and this same old, same old seemed a pretty easy way to go about destroying someone’s credibility and chance to lead a country. Heck, isn’t a sex scandal the best way ever to get rid of any political nemesis?
Somehow this phrase by the Criminal Investigation Department chief Bakri Zinin:
“I assure you that we will do a detailed and fair investigation,” he stressed.
does not reassure me about fairness and justice in this Bodohland that we reside in. If there were fairness and justice:
- a Mongolian model would not be blown to bits just because she had the misfortune to be cavorting around with some people in the top echelons of politics.
- people would not be thrown into Kamunting without fair trial regardless of what they did
- some people in the top echelons of a political party would not get to line their pockets with taxpayers’ money through various mega projects while the people have to suffer price increases and low income
- some people can’t go on the streets to raise an uproar and shouting sensitive racial issues while others going about a peaceful demonstration will not be treated to water cannons and tear gas.
And so many other examples that it would take up a 200 page book to list down.
Why these allegations now? Well, timing is everything isn’t it?
Yep, things are getting really hot, uncomfortable and bothersome for some quarters so they decided to break out their trump card. Heck, the news have been anything but favourable to them and apparently the mud-slinging did not work very well but only tend to backfire a lot.
And people wonder why I HATE politics. Just look at the dirty underhanded ways they go about to defeat a threat. It is simply an all-in-one way to get rid of the threat of frogs, change in administration and bringing to justice people who deserved it.
Seemingly brilliant plan, yes. Ultimately intelligent move, no. This is because nobody is easily fooled. No Malaysian is all that stupid to believe a repeat of such allegations.
According to the Pareto principle:
80% of baseless accusations are a result of people with only 20% brains trying to think.

Some says it was planned and executed by ‘you-know-who’, while others says it was plotted by DSAI himself as sort of a trump card to play with the rakyats boiling emotions.
It maybe whichever, but what I do know is trouble is brewing and for the next few days/weeks to come…I ain’t gonna like where our peaceful country is heading to.
Some might feel I may be a little over-board or paranoid over this, rest assure I’m definitely not paranoid…agitated maybe. With all the current issues and the rakyats boiling emotions……this is no longer just a case of sodomy.
