Foong Speaks Her Mind

If you noticed, I have not been blogging much about the current political scene in Malaysia these few days. I figured that all those smut is going to go on for much, much longer and I no longer wish to waste my blog space on all their muck and finger-pointing and whatnots.

It is blardy darn irritating to read about:

1. Sodomee allegations and all those strip or non strip, blood sample or no blood sample, truth or not true, to give report or not to give, DNA or no DNA…whatever

2. Swearing in the name of God and on a Holy book to supposedly prove innocence, to swear or not to swear

3. Hopping froggies aka politicians from one party to another and the indecision to hop or not to hop

4. You implicate me, I sue you, you sue me, I counter sue you, to sue or not to sue

5. To blame or not to blame this or that on one person or the other

6. To call or not to call a person supposedly involved in a murder of the C4 kind to the courts to testify

7. Lies, lies, lies and more lies from one to the other to every other person who opens his mouth

8. To wear or not to wear the songkok when it is not even a ruling for it to be worn

9. To cancel or not to cancel projects that involve millions

10. To allow or not to allow press freedom for more ‘accurate’ news reporting

So, in view of all this muck and annoying nonsense, I am taking a break from being a part-time SoPo blogger (heheh..since I don’t always blog SoPo things anyway) and am concentrating on less controversial things for awhile. This is not because I have received veiled or unveiled threats, it is just that I am much too sick and tired of it all now. Politic schmitick. To heck with them all.

And I shall end with the famous Shakespeare quote:

To be or not to be, that is the question.
