1. Prices of essentials keep going up with no reprieve due to the increase in petrol prices
2. The leaders are too bothered about liwat meliwat than the people’s welfare
3. The leaders do not even blink when they lie and cheat the people
4. The daily news comprised of the less than savoury antics of certain politicians and countless crimes
5. The inflation rate is so high that households with total RM1,500 income each month are considered within the poor range.
6. The police are too busy running ‘errands’ for certain parties than actually fighting crime
7. The August House is a place to make obscene gestures and sexist remarks
8. Corruption is a norm, transparency is taboo and accountability is dead
9. The judiciary system can be manipulated at will and even when exposed, nothing is done to rectify this or to punish the perpetrators.
10. The leaders keep comparing the developing country to those worse off such as Africa, India and even Indonesia when it need only look at its immediate neighbour to realise how far the country has fallen off.
11. People are ostracised and discriminated against by the government just because they are not of a certain ‘elite’ group.
12. Brain drain is very real because many of the ostracised group prefer to migrate when no help was forthcoming to help them in their education and careers right in their own homeland.
13. Racism is sanctioned by the government.
14. Anyone could be detained indefinitely without being charge or a fair trial under a draconian law which should have remained in the Dark Ages.
15. Freedom of Speech does not exist
16. The government blames its failures on the people
17. Bloggers are blamed for everything including the dismal showing in the recent general elections
18. There are plenty of infighting even within a single political party, especially the ruling one.
19. It is an oil-producing country but the profits were frittered away on inconsequential things
20. Billions are spent on stupid projects like sending someone to tour the space on a whim.
Sounds familiar? Well, do feel free to add more to this list…I know there are more but am damn sick and tired already of all this.

How true. Worst of all is the corruption is so open. Everybody even the blind also can see but the Government is so arrogant they just ignore the people and keep abusing the system.
Chinese got a saying “even the mountain can eat poor”.. Government keep wasting and corrupt officials keep pocketing the country’s wealth, one day - eventually - they will bleed it dry and end up like Zimbawee.
Incidentally Mugabe & Malaysia are good friends, and I hope we didn’t learn everything from them.
Engineer: No wonder they keep comparing Malaysia to Zimbabwe and saying how much better off we are than them. We are heading that way too…
