1. It is alright to poke at people and be poked back and to send unicorns, fairies, bears, beer, chocolates, ice cream and anything on earth or outside the universe to your friends with just the click of the mouse and an account in Facebook.
2. You go ballistics when you have no access to the internet because you really needed badly to chat with your friend about the latest gossip through MSN messenger (or any other messenger).
3. You rely 100 percent on your computer and would probably shrivel up and die if your computer malfunctions and all your precious files and documents were automatically deleted BEFORE you back it all up.
4. You catch up on the latest news by going on the internet for online newspapers instead of picking up the actual newspapers
5. A game of football does not leave you winded but maybe with some cramps in your thumbs from maneuvering the joystick.
6. You ‘bump’ into and found friends you’ve lost touch with on Facebook / Friendster.
7. You think people without mobile phones are darn weird.
8. You have at least two email accounts, one for friends and family and one for work.
9. Surfing means sitting in front of a computer and checking out all the different websites on the internet.
10. You use short forms like LOL, LMAO, WTF, ROFL, IMHO, KNN, CCB and a lot more in all your ‘conversations’ through the net.
And finally, a smiley is no longer a real button you can pin on your clothes but a button you can click on with your mouse to ’stick’ it to your emails, chats, blogs and websites.
Ain’t the 21st century just wonderful?
