Can’t access Malaysia Today never mind, go to Malaysiakini to find a way in
Posted by: Foong in Current EventsHaih. Just last night I was talking with friends about sore losers and what they would stoop to when they lost.
Looks like we got the answer today. They blame others for their lost and while they don’t blame out loud publicly, their actions spoke louder than any words they could have said.
In a rare move, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has ordered all internet service providers (ISPs) to block controversial online portal Malaysia Today.
Hmm…and I wonder why? I don’t read Malaysia Today all that regularly but I sure as hell know that it is definitely NOT a porno site.
So, let me get this straight. An online news portal is worse than sick, porno and even pedophilia sites online? Err…is it me or is there seriously something wrong with the MCMC? And the whoever in MCMC can give such a lame excuse for the decision:
“It is being blocked because we found that some of the comments on the website were insensitive, bordering on incitement,” he told Malaysiakini.
Insensitive? Incitement? Okay. Maybe I am slow or something. Hell, there were very insensitive posts bordering on incitement in this other blog and the so-called politician blogger often raise strong racial sentiments. And that is not insensitive bordering on incitement? Why the hell wasn’t this site blocked too?
Aiks. Of course. I forgot. He happened to be on the right side while RPK is obviously not on their side.
Also, since when are honest opinions on the worsening conditions of the country be considered ‘offensive’ when there are millions of porno and worse than gross porno sites that are let through without any problems. Hmmm…perhaps porno aren’t all that offensive, eh? Not as compared to the frank opinions by RPK.
So, to those of you having trouble accessing Malaysia Today. Fear not. There are ways to get in still.
Local internet users however can still access the website by typing in Malaysia Today’s IP address or an alternative web address in their web browsers.
Eh, I wonder if they will do the same to Malaysiakini? Hmmm…we never know eh? But then Malaysiakini do not have the kind of exposes that Malaysia Today has and the hundreds of comments too.
Whatever it is, this goes to show that sore losers will find a way to punish people, gag people, blindfold people and do everything they think is right just to get the people to toe the line.
Ceh.

The pot calling the kettle black. A few insensitive comments and they want to block Malaysia Today.
But it is ok for BN/UMNO to continue playing the racial card. It is ok to frighten the Malays by dismantling the 100% Bumis population in UTiM. It is ok for only Bumi companies to win Government contracts. It is ok for Bumis to get discount when buying a house? Who is going to block those insensitive issues?
I am sick & tired of this governments one eye open, one eye closed policies. Anwar did not gain his popularity all by himself. UMNO, you drove many of us into his arms.
Otak babi….the more you try the worst it gets. The more you try to censor, the more curious people get and want to have a look. The more you try to hide it and deny it, the more people think it is the truth.
If any of the allegations are not true, prove that it is not true and Malaysia Today will lose it’s creditbility and people won’t subscribe anymore. Try blocking it and running away from the truth and you only compound the problem.
It is ok for radicial BN muslim clerics to make ridiculous remarks to frighten the Chinese. It is ok to wave kris around meetings and promise to soak it in Chinese blood, it is ok to drench peaceful protesters in chemicals. But who is going to block them?
RPK is back !! Bigger and better !!Nothing is gonna stop this man …
Yeh,yeh, kita menang!!
Look who is sked now?
engineer: The Permatang Pauh by-election is enough to show dem sore losers how sick and tired most people are of them but then as sore losers go, they are too thick to realise it.
Momo: Ya, only cowards would stoop to such extreme lows.

Don’t judge Anwar by what you hear from BN.
