Some people could be so darn thick skinned

I was surfing around and did my usual ‘stopover’ at the Malaysiakini site for any interesting news and found this piece of article which is not surprising at all.

It isn’t all that interesting but it sure makes me wonder at how some people could be so thick skinned and shameless and tenacious. You know, like a little terrier holding onto something in between its teeth and refusing to let go no matter what.

notlettinggo Some people could be so darn thick skinned

Looks like someone is acting like a terrier. Or possibly worse than a terrier. Even a terrier would know when to let go, especially when told to do so. But this someone is not doing that. He is most probably holding onto the gravy train and refusing to let go. How like a terrier holding on to a choice cut of meat and growling at anyone that threatens to take it away. Except that this person don’t growl, mumble more like it.

I mean, accept the facts already. If a bunch of people gathered together and told me to get lost and that I am not needed anymore, I’d have left. No point staying on when you are not needed, right? I mean, it is one thing if it is just your opponents. But it is entirely a different thing when it is those who are supposed to be on your side.

So, to the thick skin fella who insists on acting like this terrier…

Isn’t it time to let go? Admit it, nobody wants you, nobody likes you and yes, sad as it may seem, nobody needs you. Just balik kampung!

Really. What’s the point of guarding the big juicy bone when you could not do anything great with it anyway?

According to Malaysikini, this thick skin terrier has very limited time with his ‘bone’ and is given a time frame to give up the bone. By Oct 9, to be exact. While the opponents are marching off to the higher levels to grab the bone for themselves.

Great shows we have ahead of us. Remember to prepare plenty of popcorn.

    Something is brewing
    Yeah the change of government
    Every one is anxiously waiting
    Right in the kopitiam talk

    UMNO is reeling
The warlords want their chief to go
Afraid when he stays too long
    Implosion will happen
    UMNO will disintegrate

    Pushing its president
Letting him know he has to go
    Yet the people hope
He will do his last good work
    Release all ISA detainees
Then he can wave his goodbyes

    Anwar works his magic
    Giving enough rope to appease
The government leader to take steps
To meet him to solve the impasse

Calling his bluff doesn’t solve the issue
It is better the sleeping beauty calls Parliament
Lay the cards once and for all
See who will run the show

    Something is brewing
Amongst the warlords I am sure
Trying their best to find ways
    Before the ground breaks

    Anwar must be sure
    Otherwise his creditability is ruined
For he will find it hard to establish his reputation
When the truth isn’t found its way

    Something is brewing
The sky is dark the rain has fallen
    The ground is wet
    Will it happen?
The changing of guards on the hill
