There’s a reason why I hate living in a tiny pigeon hole in a high rise building. Not because we don’t have a garden. Nor because we have to park a million km away and walk, then take a lift up to our unit. Nor because we may end up climbing the stairs up to our floor when the lifts are out or the electricity are on the blink. Nor because our cars may get stolen / vandalised at night and we won’t even know it till much, much later. Nor because we have to carry armloads of stuff through the carpark and the lift before getting to your unit. Nor because we have to pay monthly maintenance fees but the maintenance is dang lousy.
There’s only one simple reason that made me wish we could afford to buy landed property in Penang instead of staying in apartments. *HAH. Fat chance!* And the reason is that we are stuck with neighbours on all four sides; on the left, on the right, above and below. There are the ones opposite our unit. Now, having nice neighbours are a bonus but nowadays, we can seldom find good, neighbourly neighbours. And now in particular, I’d like to rant about the MORONIC, STUPID BASTURDS upstairs.
Hell, even as I type this at 1.40am and I can hear the people upstairs hammering happily. Blardy idiot. It is 1.40AM! Most people are asleep (Except for me and the people upstairs.) Dammit, at times I feel like marching upstairs and shout at them especially if they woke my son up.
IDIOTS. Grrrrr….
i never understand why my neighbours from upstairs are still ‘renovating’ their house after been living here for more than 3 years. many times a week they will start drilling something in their unit be it afternoon, evening or even after midnight. there’s once they moved furnitures at 4 am. it woke me up. it shuddered me. i thought i was having some kind of nightmare.
my apartment management here has given a notice that drilling and the like activities are banned from 6 pm onwards but unfortunately my neighbour broken it and drilled something at 6.10pm that gave me nausea to the night while i was napping.
what an annoying neighbour.
