Are people who waste their food.
I was raised with the words ‘Don’t waste your food’ drummed into my head. So, from small, I always finished everything on my plate. Even when I don’t like the food. Or even when it tasted horrible, somehow, I’d find a way to choke it all down.
Of course, now, I am smarter. I pick and choose. If I don’t like a certain food, I don’t order it so I don’t have to eat it at all. The only food I ever throw out nowadays are expired food or foods that have gone bad.
What I really can’t stand are greedy people who’d stack their plates with loads of food at buffets and then do not finish all the food on their plate. This is pure, utter waste. If you can’t finish your food, don’t take so much. Is that so difficult to do? Why take so many and then leave most of it uneaten and to be thrown away?
To all the wasteful people out there, you should really watch this video clip:
The short video clip is very touching and so poignant of what is really happening in some parts of the world (possibly even here in Malaysia!). No wonder it’s one of the winning films of a film festival on food, taste and hunger.
If after watching this, you don’t feel a single shred of emotion, you are either:
a. inhuman
b. the worst unfeeling wasteful SOB to walk the earth who will one day be in worse situation than those children.

Eyes tempting it
The stomach growling
Many to pick
People go cashing it
On plates fully high
About etiquette forget
Behavior of hungry countries
As if long time no food to eat
Piling it up don’t want to go rounds
When they can’t finish, put it aside
“We pay for it what!”
It is a pity
When others are suffering terribly
Here we find wastage of food
By educated and professional people
They should take what they can
Go as many rounds as they wish
So wastage not selection wise
Know the etiquette nothing to lose
So touching the video! yes, must not simply waste food because there are people out there who are starving!
