Still, a child is something any parent (mother or father) would be happy to have. Calling it a parasite, for me, defeats the purpose of even having procreated in the first place. Just my opinion.

I disagree. To me, parasite is something that lives on the host, takes everything from the host but returns nothing. Children gives so much more return in exchange for a small sacrifice, don't you think? No? OK, speak scientifically, offspring offers the survival of our species.
