Things in my mind that I want to blog about…

They say when you have the will, there’s a way but they forgot to mention that with a will and no time, then very difficult to find a way! I have been meaning to blog about so many topics but didn’t have the time to do so that this poor blog gets way neglected.

Well, I have been busy with my earn money blogging project for one thing and then I have to get ready for the new baby. Besides that, having a huge protruding belly is not all that conducive for me to sit in front of a computer for hours on end. Bad enough that I had to do that at work (and end up with really bad backache) but to do that at home…well, lets just say my back refused to cooperate…

So, instead of blogging in length about what’s been on my mind of late, here are snippets of it ala-FB-style (or twitter-style).

1. They are wasting BILLIONS of OUR money on government projects (obviously in somebody’s pocket) and the people are only getting peanuts from the Budget. There is seriously something wrong with that.

2. It’s always great to have a husband who cooks, cleans and brings home the ‘bacon’ too…thanks for helping around the house!

3. How nice if I can go on a long vacation from my bloated body, crazy work and monthly bills.

4. I used to look forward to my mail when in school because I’d get postcards from my mom, letters from friends, cards from relatives but now, I dreaded opening the mailbox because it would mean it’s a letter from my long-list of ‘secret admirers’ with abbreviated names like CIMB, HSBC…

5. Baby, baby please don’t be too early. I am still NOT ready to have you tearing out of me because the baby cot’s not ready, the baby clothes are still waiting to be washed, my self-preparation not ready and I want to spend more time with my boy before he officially becomes a ‘big brother’.

6. Stem cell banking is all the rage but after much research, I discovered that it is not all that useful because if the baby do develop leukemia or whatever cancer later, her stem cells would already have it and not be useful anymore. So, what’s the point? However, if there is a public stem cell bank here, I’d donate her stem cells because like blood, it can be used to save others who may need it.

7. It is not so easy to try to churn out 100 posts to generate an online income especially with an aching back and extreme fatigue each and every day. And those posts are supposed to be 500-word that make sense and are based on facts.

8. Shouting does not work but taking away his toys or TV privilege sure do help in disciplining a rebellious toddler.

9. My son never fail to be amazed and would giggle non-stop whenever he place his hand on my belly and felt the baby kicking / moving. He also talks to her all the time.

10. It makes my skin crawl coupled with a need to kick his balls when I heard that a friend’s husband went looking around for hookers because the wife is out of commission for now(she just had a baby). That’s not the worst of it, he has TWO wives. And he still need to look for hookers? WTF. Hope his little pecker shrivel up, rot and then fall off.

11. Dammit, don’t even dream that I’d let you (this refers to a certain someone I’d rather not mention here)babysit my baby when I go back to work ok? Over my  STILL, DEAD, ROTTING BODY!

12. Getting addicted to FB (that’s Facebook to all you non-FB-ers out there) is pretty easy and it sure do waste a lot of your time.

13.  The last time I picked up a book, it’s my son’s book to read to him before bedtime. Damn, time to buy a stock full of books to read. But then when will I ever have time to read the books?

14. Politics exist everywhere, amongst teachers, amongst RAs committee members, amongst office workers…as long as there’s power to be seized, money to be gained and more power to be taken, there is politics. Pshaww..that’s humans with nothing better to do but to feel the so-called glory of ‘power’. They forgot, you can’t take it all with you if you happen to collapse and die on the spot.

15. When on my deathbed, I do not want to regret things I have not done BUT not as much as I don’t want to regret not spending enough time with my family and close friends.

16. Being rich, staying in a big huge bungalow, driving fancy luxurious cars are SO over-rated because 1. you can’t bring it with you when you die; 2. you become the target of robberies, burglars and kidnappers; 3. you will never know if your friends like you or your money; 4. your children will end up fighting each other for your estate when you die

17. Believing in God does not mean one has to be religious and having faith in God does not mean one is religious either. Beliefs and faith is highly personal so why question other’s belief at any point?

18. I just can’t get enough of them Winchester brothers (of Supernatural series). Dammit, can my ‘official series downloader’ hurry up and get Season 5?!?!?!?

19. I have been wondering how great is the Amazon Kindle and is glad that it is not available here and can’t be used here or else there goes more $$$ for the gadget n more $$$ for ebooks that I won’t have time to read!

20. When will I ever get to leave this highly ‘exciting’ but deadbeat job I am in? sigh….

You want to get out of the system
The days are coming near so is your thoughts
Pulling you to say it out of your mind
When it is done there will be a new chapter
Sitting there willing it to create news again

    The big brother rapports
He is gearing up to see
The unborn child he has to care
The big brother to the rescue

    Health is important
There is no denying the fact
Money shouldn’t be on the top list
Then again others will say it is!

    Working 9 to 5
    Sometimes overtime
    Working hard for the money
    Thinking it will retire early

    Yet it never happens
When you think you are on your way
    New baby comes along
    Expenditures increase abnormally

    So now baby or money
    The focus must be right
Work hard to go for retirement
    Then produce babies….
Then they say “Ah too old”

    When wives are in confinement
    Husbands try to go astray
    Giving excuses of needs unfulfilled
The wives should kick their husbands
Go to the prostitutes and never come back!

    So marrying a man
Be sure he knows his roles
    Understand his wife predicament
The worrying flow in her mind

    Backaches and pain
Worrying about needs in the house
Working yet must handle all matters
    When a husband goes astray
How hard to forgive……and the baby

Pregnancy talking amongst friends and relatives
Bridging conversation trying to ease the pain
    Helpful wingless angels come along
Offering unsolicited advice what to do

In the mind it is just gossipping
Passing the day waiting for its due date
But pregnant wives will think many
    Everything must be ready………..

In my kampong days years ago
I remembered a pregnant woman crazy craze
In the middle of the night she wanted rojak
The poor husband couldn’t find to ease her needs
So he stayed awake consoling his wife……………….
A story I heard when I was a young boy growing up

I pray God will be kind
    Granting you your wishes
As you progress for your pregnancy
May the little one bring you prosperity
