// I don’t know which is more amusing when reading the news nowadays…whether it is the ridiculous excuses some so-called minister makes up for those irresponsible, uncouth cow-head protestors, the lack of police actions against those idiots or the wide-spread papparazzing of poor mega-star Andy Lau who is not even remotely Malaysian, although his wife [...] Whenever I attended a funeral, I am always at a loss on what to say to the grieving family. In fact, I just usually said ‘hello’ and then stood there in a looooonnnggggg painful awkward silence until the grieving person move away. I am not much of a stickler for all the mumbo-jumbo of most Chinese traditions so I am mostly clueless on most Chinese traditions and customs. When it comes to a funeral, if it is being done the traditional Taoism way, I am even more clueless. It was a very eventful weekend for me. I had two gloomy news and two sort-of happy events. |
