According to Zaid Ibrahim’s letter (full version in Malaysiakini) to the current Prime Minister, it seemed that our very first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman made this promise to ALL Malaysians: Not to Kamunting though. Since we are all (especially bloggers) being frightened with all the ISA threat due to recent events, I have to be more careful of what I blog here. I just hopped over from Anil Netto’s blog about this Memorandum for Media Freedom to pressure our ISA-dependent federal government to enact Freedom of Information laws. |
