Amidst all this hype over the Permatang Pauh by-election, it looks like this year’s Merdeka celebrations had taken a back seat.
Think about it. The media are too busy with political news and all. Many people are talking about Anwar Ibrahim’s bid to get back into parliament which he succeeded.

Especially by empty promises and temporary goodies given out now, not out of sincerity but as a subtle form of bribery. The Permatang Pauh by-election is progressing much more violently as I expected it would be. Though the Pakatan Rakyat leaders have been saying this could be the work of other groups out to sabotage the party, I think they should really check out their own members first. |
